Carlow Cricket Club | CLUB DAY 2022

Carlow Cricket Club held their first ‘Club Day’ on the 30th of October 2022. It took place in The Carlovian Dining Hall in Carlow College St. Patrick’s.
There was a large attendance made up of the Club’s Patron and President of Carlow College, St. Patrick’s Fr. Con, the Club’s Chairperson Mohammed Rafique, Club officers, committee members, players from all teams, family and friends of the club.
Fr. Conn and Carlow County Development Partnership CEO Annette Fox were presented with a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ for all of their unwavering support shown to the club throughout the 2022 cricket season.
Jane Murphy and Kay Keating were awarded ‘The Kay Keating and Jane Murphy Perpetual Shield ’ for their ceaseless work in managing and developing our club. This award was set up in their names and is represented by a fabulous plaque.
Averil and Larry from Carlow College were thanked for the invaluable work they do for the club and the support they show to our club.

The club day was finished up with the sharing of a delicious array of food, treats, coffee and tea. Thank you to all who helped with organising and setting up the event and bringing food and refreshments. Carlow Cricket Club look forward to an exciting 2023 cricket season.
