The Carlow second team reaches to the final of Ed Sports Russell Court Trophy.
The Carlow team welcome Adamstown at the ground of Carlow College, St. Patrick’s on Sunday, July 30.
Due to the unforeseeable weather conditions, the official umpire and both team captains took the decision to play for five overs. Carlow 2 won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Carlow team won by nine wickets.
Despite the conditions, the excitement developed, especially with the amazing home support. First, it looked like a comfortable win for Carlow, and then an agonizing defeat only for Carlow to win the game with a four off the last ball. Supporters rushed on to the pitch to celebrate an amazing victory.
The final against Terenure 4 is scheduled to be played at Park Avenue, Dublin on Saturday, August 19.
